Trimming a cam cover is one of the more common aesthetic engine modifications for Evo Sportsters. After removal, it requires cutting, grinding, sanding and in some cases drilling and tapping. Save yourself the trouble and let me do it for you. Currently available for 91+ sportsters in a few different options.
1) Rear dowel On/Off: The rear case dowel locates the cover when it is installed on the bike. In my opinion you should leave it on but a LOT of people shave it off, probably because it's easier.
2) Oil Pump Cover Yes/No: This was a design that I started doing on my own personal bikes, because I like the slimmed down look of the trimmed cover but didn't like how it gave the motor a visual of sitting really high in the frame, and also the oil pump isn't really a good looking piece. Adding the oil pump cover gives your bike a look that will stand out a bit.
